Mary Emery (born Margarita Cabazos October 4, 1896 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico - died February 9, 1988 in Los Angeles) was an Mexico born American character actress. She made 14 film and TV appearances form 1935 and 1952, all in uncredited bit roles before appearing twice on I Love Lucy in the series' 4th and 6th seasons, appearing in "Lucy's Mother-In-Law" (#4.7) and then "The Ricardos Visit Cuba" (#6.9). Mary may best be remembered for playing Mrs. Ricardo, Ricky Ricardo' mother, on the series. Born in Mexico but reared in Texas, Emery started out playing bit parts and then became a frequent participant in LA theater. She was also a Spanish flamenco dancer. In the mid-1950s, she started appearing regularly on television. During her long career, Emery also billed herself as Amora Emery.
